All Tucker County Schools are now closed for today March 17th.
Due to the weather and the associated school delay tomorrow, the spirit bus trip to the boys’ basketball state tournament game in Charleston has been cancelled.
Tucker County Schools will operate on a 3 hour delay tomorrow due to inclement weather. We will continue to monitor conditions. The spirit bus for high school students tomorrow has also been cancelled due to the time frame in which it was scheduled to leave.
TCHS will host an Eastern Summer and Fall 2026 registration session on Wednesday, April 8th, from 3:30 to 5:00 p.m. at the high school. An Eastern representative will be on-site to register students directly for their second semester courses.
This event is required for all students taking Eastern classes in either summer or fall 2026, and a parent or guardian must attend with the student because a signature is required for registration.
If you cannot attend, please call the school at 304-478-2651 before the event to make alternate arrangements.
The final day to register for Eastern dual-credit courses will be Friday, April 17th.
Senior families will also have the opportunity to meet with Eastern’s FAFSA expert for help completing the FAFSA. This support is available to all students, even those not taking Eastern courses.
We will work with athletic teams to make sure student-athletes are not penalized for any practice time that overlaps with registration.

Tomorrow's National Honor Society Induction ceremony will now begin at 6:00 PM. Any boys basketball student athlete participating in the event, and in the basketball game following the event, will have time between events to prepare for senior night and pre-game warmups.

Senior parents, this is a reminder that the school will be hosting a FAFSA night here at the high school on tonight from 3:30-5:30 in the Library. There will be a representative from the West Virginia Higher Education Policy Commission here to assist with filing the FAFSA and to answer any questions you may have. Attendees are encouraged to bring their tax information.
