This is a reminder that student driving is not permitted on 2-hour delay days. The only exception is for work-study students who have submitted a signed parent waiver and whose employers have requested that they report to work on delay days.
Students who have college course blocks or classes tomorrow must arrive at school by bus or parent drop-off/pick-up and report to their assigned Eastern coverage teacher during those blocks.

Tucker County Schools will operate on a 2 hour delay tomorrow due to the high likelihood of ice overnight in our higher elevation areas.
Brandon Bohon’s bus (9B) and Tommy Harper’s bus (6B) will not be running tomorrow December 2, 2025. If you can get your student to school please do so. We apologize for the inconvenience.
TCHS Families,
Lifetouch provided the following updates to TCHS today:
They have informed us that they have “pushed” the school’s images to their online portal. Families should now be able to log in and view their student’s pictures. If you are still unable to access the images, please let us know so we can follow up.
Additionally, due to a high participation rate on the original senior picture day and a very low participation rate on senior retake day last year, Lifetouch has decided to combine all retakes (freshmen through seniors) into one session. As a result, all picture retakes for grades 9–12 will take place this Thursday, December 4th.
Jack Mullenax’s bus 1A and Tommy Harper’s bus 6B will not be running tomorrow December 1, 2025. If you can get your student to school please do so. We apologize for the inconvenience.
This is a reminder that TCHS will host an Eastern 2nd Semester Registration Session tonight, Monday, November 17th, from 3:30 to 5:00 p.m. at the high school. An Eastern representative will be on-site to help students register directly for second-semester courses.
This event is required for all students taking Eastern courses next semester, and a parent or guardian must attend with the student, as a signature is required for registration.
If you cannot attend, please call the school before the event to make alternate arrangements. The final day to register for TCHS Eastern dual credit courses will be Friday, November 21st, though students may still register for courses taken independently outside of school hours after that date.

Important Update for Students Registering for Eastern Courses!
Due to the snowfall, Eastern Community & Technical College is unable to make the trip to TCHS this evening. As a result, tonight’s registration event has been rescheduled for Monday, November 17th, from 3:30 to 5:00 p.m.
We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate everyone who had made plans to attend tonight; this change was unfortunately beyond TCHS’s control.
The rescheduled event on Monday, November 17th, is required for all students who need to register for second-semester Eastern college courses. Please make every effort to attend. Both the student and a parent or guardian must be present, as a signature is required for registration. Arrangements will still be made for student athletes who may be late to practice due to the event.
If you cannot attend, please call the school this week to make alternate registration arrangements.
Due to the cancellation, the deadline to register for dual credit courses has been extended to Friday, November 21st. Students may still enroll in non-dual credit (college-only) courses after that date, but those courses will not count for high school credit.
Additional Support for Seniors:
Eastern will still have a FAFSA expert available at the November 17th event to assist all senior students and families, including those not taking Eastern courses, with completing the FAFSA.

Attention senior fall athlete parents and guardians. This is a reminder that you and your child will be honored at tonight's last home TCHS football game. Please be at the football field in Parsons no later than 6:15 pm, as lineup will begin promptly at 6:25 pm at the 50-yard line behind the Mt. Lion bench. Your child will be given a pass for you to enter the game free of charge. Please enter through the front gate so flowers can be given out prior to lineup. We thank you for your dedication and support for our TCHS fall athlete members. See you at the game tonight.

This is an important update for families of the Class of 2025:
Due to the forecast for cold temperatures, steady rain, and wind during graduation, we have made the difficult decision to move the ceremony indoors to the high school gymnasium. While we always prefer to hold graduation on the football field, tomorrow’s weather simply will not allow for a comfortable experience for all attendees.
The ceremony will still take place on Friday, May 23, with doors opening at 5:00 PM and the ceremony beginning at 6:00 PM. No tickets are required, and students are not limited on the number of guests. However, we ask that extended family and friends use standing or back seating areas to allow closer seating for immediate family.
The ceremony will also be live streamed on our school’s Facebook page for anyone who prefers to watch from home.
Thank you for your understanding, and we look forward to celebrating the accomplishments of the Class of 2025.
This is a reminder that tomorrow, May 20th, TCHS will conduct spring benchmarking assessments for freshman and sophomore students. Only 9th and 10th grade students need to report to school that day. Juniors and any seniors not on the senior trip will participate in remote learning, with assignments provided in advance by their teachers. We ask families to help us get the most accurate data possible by ensuring that our freshman and sophomore students arrive on time, are well-rested, and are ready to do their best.
